They say that it is what you need
to go beyond where you were
and become a better you
and you'll look back
and thank the one that hurt you
for helping you grow
Why, then, is my pain debilitating?
Why does my heart stop?
Why can't I breathe?
Why am I unable to see
beyond the darkness consuming me?
This pain is a thankless burden
and I am drowning in it
I need an escape
Any escape
Please give me a sign
because I am losing hope
and I don't think that I
can hold on much longer
Please don't let me die here

I like this, it's very true. If pain makes you stronger, then why am I hidden in my house every day. AND if pain makes you stronger, then why do people commit suicide?
